Would you like to see buffalo on a safari?

At Sabatika Tours we design safaris to see buffalo in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, where large herds roam open savannahs, riverbanks and wetlands. Although they are often considered part of the whole, the African buffalo offers scenes of enormous visual strength and very marked social behavior.

The dry season is especially interesting for this safari. During these months, the herds are concentrated near rivers and lakes, which allows large groups to be observed, moving, interacting and protecting the young from predators.

The choice of park marks the experience. In Kenya and Tanzania, open savannas allow herds to be followed for long periods, while in Uganda buffalo move in greener and less traveled environments, providing a different and wilder experience.

The pace of the safari is key. We design days without haste, dedicating time to continuous observation and allowing the scenes to develop naturally, without interference.

Each buffalo safari is custom-built, integrating it into a balanced itinerary that combines a variety of wildlife, landscapes and comfort.
